You must be a resident of the Town of Glenwood to use the Garbage and Recycling Center

There is no cost, to residents, to bring recyclables to the Garbage and Recycling Center

You must purchase a garbage card to bring garbage to the Garbage and Recycling Center. A garbage card costs $70.00 annually, if paid by January 31. If paid for after January 31, the cost is $75.00. Garbage cards are valid for one (1) year, starting February 1 and expiring on January 31. Garbage card information is included with your tax bills, that are mailed to you every December, and can be paid at the same time you pay your taxes. If you need to purchase a garbage card at any other time of the year, contact the Town of Glenwood, Treasurer.

Saturdays 8:00am - 1:00pm
Winter Hours
(October 1 - April 30)
Saturdays 8:00am - 1:00pm
WHAT TO RECYCLE:

GLASS bottles & jars

ALUMINUM, tin & steel cans and lids

PLASTICS #1-2 bottles, jugs, jars & food tubs
(put plastic caps back on) -
PAPER, flattened cardboard, newspaper & magazines

NO Plastic Bags/Film - gather separately
(bring to your local grocery store, Target or Walmart) -
NO Used Paper Products (can be composted)
